Bermagui bike track open
25 Aug 10 | THE mini cyclone that raged through the south coast over the last weekend of May did some serious damage to the Bermagui bike track. Ten huge spotted gums came down in the storm blocking the track in several places and two monster trees destroyed about half of the timber bridge.

25 Aug 10 | SATURDAY was the Elimination Final for the Sapphire Coast AFL where third played fourth and the Narooma Lions were in the U17’s up against the Pambula Panthers at Pambula.
Whales win first ever finals game
25 Aug 10 | The NSSC Whales won their first ever finals game when they defeated Braidwood 24-3 at Braidwood Redbacks at the Braidwood Recreation ground. In a tough first half the Narooma put together some scintillating football to score three tries running up the hill.

Whales’ fight back not enough in final home game
11 Aug 10 | THE last game of 2010 saw the NSSC Whales take on the rampant Batemans Bay Boars. The Boars defeated the Sharks 66-0 the previous week and are on a roll as the season ends. A win on Saturday would put them on top of the table in the run up to the semi finals of the Vikings Shield.
AFL-Lion makes U15’s All Australian team
11 Aug 10 | LOCAL Narooma Lion U17 AFL player Jedd Clothier has made a name for himself and the township by being appointed to the U15's All Australian team. Jedd who this year received a scholarship with the Essendon Football Club has been part of the inaugural James Hird Academy.
