Big Huey also continues his winning ways getting a first place in the 1600m Agriculture Cup at Wagga Wagga on October 17, while he also ran at Muswellbrook on October 4 finishing seventh out 11.

Big Huey has spent most of the year resting or having a "spell" up at Moruya after winning the Batemans Bay Soldiers Club 1650-metres at Moruya on February 14, Valentine's Day.

Big Huey's owners are Bill Taylor, Bart Cummins, Ian Thompson, Peter Duryea, Sue Shelley, Mitchell Chandler and Brian Hudson.

Big Huey won at Bega in January and also won his race at Moruya Cup Day.

Narooma racing identity Bob James continued to look down from heaven as he was part of the original syndicate and Big Huey was initially purchased to win the Narooma Cup.

Depending on his run in Sydney, the syndicate plan to put him out for a spell before bringing him back for next year's Narooma Cup.

One of his owners Bill Taylor said he was looking good for the cup and all the syndicate were very pleased with his progress and form.

Big Huey has earned $33,530 so far in his career where his record is six wins, two seconds and four fourths from 28 starts.

The syndicate initially leased his brother Wagonga Gaze but he was injured and lost an eye in the spelling paddock.

Big Huey is kept and trained at Moruya by trainer John Marzol. The breeder of the Wagonga Gaze felt bad about the accident and so decided to sell the syndicate his brother Big Huey.

Both horses are out of the well-known stallion Intergaze.
