WELL it is busy in the gym at the moment, with plenty of young fellows coming through, who were all treated to a great training session when Narooma's Booma 'BadBad' Leroy Brown dropped in and did some sparring. The Booma is preparing for a fight on March 5 at the Nowra Entertainment Centre. He will fight Indonesia's #1 contender Aswin Cabuy over six rounds, as a warm up to his Bega fight on April 10, where he will fight for the WBF World Youth Middleweight Title. This will be his second World Youth Title, and our goal is to unite them in the near future, so he fights for 3 World Youth Titles in one night, making him the undisputed Youth Champion of the world. If we can do it, he will be the first man in the world to do so.

In Nowra, he will fight the Main Support bout to one of Australia's hottest prospects Tui Levini, who is fighting for the IBO Title. The promoter will get both boys centre ring after the contest, providing both win, and announce they will fight each other on his next show. That will be one great fight, Levini being a regular starter and Main Event fighter on FOX Sports.

Tommy Hoffstead will also fight on the under card, and if interested, please call in the gym or give me a call to get your tickets. Ring side tickets are $65, and VIP table seats are $200.

Now back to the big one, B-Day in Bega, April 10. Double-header main event, Shannan Taylor will fight for the WBF Australasian Title, and the 'Brown Bomber' the WBF World Youth Title. Show is coming along great; it is the first of a four fight deal with Shannan Taylors Company Blaster Entertainment. They will fight 'Double Header' Main Events in Bega, Batemans Bay & Shannan's home town of Bulli, then meet face to face here in Narooma on the October Long Weekend!

This can be a massive event for Narooma, and fills the void of the Festival moving to the Bay. I spoke with Festival Promoter Neil Mummie last week, and he has given us his blessing to promote the show on the Football Field, which he holds the Promoting Rites for the next 5 years. I have the first 3 shows to promote this October Long Weekend event, 8 months, and a lot of hard work to pull it together. Anyone interested in giving us some advise, please step forward and give us your advise! We need the town behind us to pull this off!!!!!
