AN exciting game against the Baycity Strikers with everyone playing well and with a huge improvement from all players from week to week. Coach's award went to Brooke Stubbs for a huge effort in the second half. Parents award went to Isaac Sultana for a great game and continuing improvement. Congratulations to Brooke and Isaac. Well done to everyone in the team. See you all at training.

Wazza.

Youth Girls 15/16

Cobargo 3 - Narooma 0

We thought we might have a chance because on the day we were able to field 12, and Cobargo only had 10, but it was not to be. The Narooma girls vastly improved their game from the last match, being able to block nearly all attempts in the goal square during the first half, and getting in with concerted efforts gain control of the ball. A minor error on Narooma's behalf saw Cobargo score a goal towards the end of the first half. Second half saw Cobargo score two more goals and winning the game. Some notable efforts by Bridie Belts, Saraya Ardler and Connor Atkins. The O'Briens Hotel Raw Prawn Bistro players of the match went to Jaimee Allan and Erin Ackerley for a great effort.

U11s

Narooma 3 versus Moruya 5

Cade got Narooma off to a flying start with a terrific early goal, after some great teamwork from Luke and Mackie. Unfortunately, Moruya answered with some rapid-fire goals. The score could have been much higher, without great defending from Bethany, Sean and Keegan, who all did some awesome clearing kicks. Goalie Lewis put his body on the line a number of times to save certain goals. Niamh and Ashley showed plenty of girl power on the wings, and August did some sensational defending.

In the second half Narooma staged a great fight back. Luke found the back of the net after some terrific passing from the team, and Jake proved that he is a great in mid-field, with a well-earned goal. Monty had a great game all-round, running the ball down the line, and threatening the Moruya goalie a number of times. Zak found his niche as sweeper, and the team were on fire. Unfortunately the team ran out of time, but they should be proud of the effort they put in, and the great teamwork they displayed. Congratulations go to Raw Prawn Player of the Match Monty O'Brien, who played like a star. Well done.

U8s Bodalla

Lachlan scored quickly in the first half. Josh as goalie was under fire and made some fantastic saves. Talia, Shae and Olivia made many tackles and line breaks. It was a tough second half but Lachlan and Renee kept up the pressure with Ryan getting the ball back repeatedly. Dylan and Connor continuing to be strong in support.
