Safe ripped out

POLICE are investigating how a safe was ripped off a wall at a residence on West Street, Bermagui between 4pm and 6pm.

The safe containing jewellery and passports had been bolted to the wall and was stolen along with alcohol after the residence was broken into.

Forensic investigators examined the scene.

 Vehicle rollover

A LOCAL P-plater rolled his car on Wonga Road, south Narooma at 8.30am on Wednesday.

He was taken to hospital for checks and was issued with a negligent driving ticket.

 Drug supply

A 45-year-old Narooma woman was charged with supplying prohibited drugs on Wednesday.

 Possession charge

POLICE searched the vehicle of a 25-year-old Narooma man on Wednesday locating drugs and charging him with possession.

 Snipper stolen

A WHIPPER snipper was stolen from a trailer parked outside the Dalmeny supermarket between 1pm and 1.30pm last Tuesday.

 Vehicle damaged

AN altercation among a group of young people on Forsters Bay Road, Narooma at 2am last Tuesday resulted in a car parked on the street being damaged.

Anyone who saw anything is asked to contact local police or Crimestoppers.

Unregistered minibike

A 16-year-old Narooma youth on an unregistered minibike is facing traffic charges after police stopped him on the Princes Highway at North Narooma.

 Gas bottle theft

A GAS bottle was stolen from a residence on Alexander Drive, Bermagui between November 12 and Friday.

 Lost wallet

A LOCAL man lost his wallet in the vicinity of the Narooma Bakery on the Flat last week. Anyone who found it is asked to turn it in.

 Tree falls

A LARGE tree fell and blocked Hillcrest Avenue, Narooma partially blocking the Princes Highway at 9.30pm on Wednesday. A Moruya SES unit was tasked to clear the tree.

 Compass found

AN expensive, Swiss-made compass was found in the Mill Bay, Narooma area on Monday. Anyone who lost and who can ID the compass can claim it.
