MIDTOWN SMASH: Police and paramedics respond to the accident in Midtown Narooma on Monday morning.
Car theft
A HILUX tabletop utility stolen from a Lakeview Drive residence at Wallaga Lake Heights between 5pm on Friday and 6.30am on Saturday was later located at the Wallaga Lake Koori Village and towed away for forensic examination.
That same night on Lakeview Drive between 12.30am and 10.30am unknown persons broke into a Toyota Landcruiser stealing a GPS.
Forensic evidence was collected from the car including fingerprints while residents in the area reported hearing the vehicle being driven away and male and female voices . Police investigations continue.
Roadside assault
POLICE are investigating allegations of assault after a man in his 60s reported he was assaulted on the side of Bermagui Cobargo Road at 8.30am on Friday.
He alleges an unknown young man driving a green utility punched him in the head and that a video recorder in his car recorded the incident.
Police are in the process of reviewing the footage.
Midtown accident
POLICE and paramedics responded to a collision between two cars in Midtown Narooma at 11.45am on Monday.
A white Ford station wagon driven by a 78-year-old Narooma woman pulled out from Montague Street across the Princes Highway and collided with a silver sedan being driven south on the highway.
One of the drivers was taken to Moruya Hospital for precautionary reasons and police investigations continue.
Low ranger
POLICE stopped a Toyota Prado at the intersection of Bunga and Lamont streets at 12.35am on Saturday for a random breath test.
The 55-year-old male driver failed the test and was later charged with low-range drink driving.
Plants found
POLICE serving documents at a property on Ridge Road, Central Tilba on Thursday afternoon noticed three large cannabis plants.
A possible owner was identified and investigations continue.
Bike stolen
A MOUNTAIN bike worth $1500 was stolen from a shed on a property on the Princes Highway, Tilba Tilba between June 12 and last week.
