Well what a day it was yesterday…
The weather and its power is really amazing and in the end we are at its mercy, or are we? Or is it the other way around?
Are we really over reacting or is the climate heating up due to greenhouse gases, meaning these kinds of extreme days and fire dangers are going to become a regular thing?
It sure feels like things are heating up, what with records being broken and the scientists saying the climate is changing, and yet there are vocal climate sceptics in our midst who insist we have nothing to worry about, or at least that if the climate is warming, it is not due to man.
In the interest of being fair and giving everyone a voice, the News will run these sceptics’ letters along with the Clean Energy for Eternity group’s regular column.
Maybe the sceptics’ belief that either humans are making no difference, the climate is not heating or we can’t change what is happening, is right.
But then again we could still be believing the world is flat….
