CLUB Narooma has once again come on board supporting junior sport in Narooma by sponsoring Narooma Junior Rugby League $3000 towards costs that will be incurred during the up-coming football season.
On presenting the cheque to Ross Griffiths president of Narooma Junior Rugby League Tony Casu said, “Club Narooma is once again proud to support the juniors of the town.”
“Keeping a strong junior sporting presence in the Narooma community is seen as a vital part of keeping the town alive and vibrant.
“The Narooma Sporting & Services Club Ltd is proud to be able to support the Narooma community in this way,” he said.
“The Narooma Junior Rugby League is a fantastic organisation and I would like to congratulate the efforts of the volunteers that go into keeping so many of the town’s juniors playing a well organised sport.
“The Narooma Sporting & Services Club Ltd would also wish all the teams a very successful 2013 season,” Mr Casu said.
