Volunteers on Friday recommenced the newspaper recycling project that turns old Narooma News’s into shopping bags.
At noon, they were joined by Pauline Gleeson, president of Asha Foundation, which is an organisation the group supports.
She told the group of the foundation’s continued concerted effort to educate Nepalese girls, and how appreciative their families are.
See their website www.ashafoundation.org.au
Thanks went too to Bill Wilson, who continues to generously donate his time in making templates for the project.
Join the bag group on Fridays from 9am to 12noon at St Pauls, 11 Tilba Street, Narooma. Phone Lorraine on 0410 289 052.
