Get ready for the Cobargo Show

EVERYONE’S favourite country show is on again at Cobargo on the weekend.

The Cobargo AP & H Society is proud to announce that for the first time, the 2013 Cobargo Show will be held over Saturday and Sunday.

This year’s show will also see the first bull ride accompany the usual rodeo events of the Campdraft, Tail Tagging, Chute Dogging and the Open Steer Ride.

The bull ride will be at 3pm on Sunday and there is $1700 in prize money.

The Society also advises that the Team Yarding/Penning event has been replaced with Team Sorting.

“We are excited about these changes and are looking forward to our 2013 show!” show publicity officer Anne Farr said.

There will be a full show jumping program over the two days, with the Hack Program and Two-Ring Circus on Saturday, while the Heavy Horses & Harness and Novelties are programmed for Sunday.

On Sunday there will also be an antique motor bike display including a 1907 Triumph; 1912 LMC; 1910 Humber; 1915 Triumph and 1914 Kerry.

Sunday will also see bull rides and chainsaw event that there is a first prize of a brand new chainsaw.

On Saturday afternoon and evening there is heifer riding for the ladies.
