University of Tasmania sport supplement experts will be interviewed today to explain how such drugs affect an athlete performances and health.
Human sciences senior lecturer James Fell and exercise physiologist Dr Cecilia Shing have conducted research on the use of performance enhancing supplements as part of the Sport Optimisation Research Team.
They have looked into substances including the World Doping Agency banned substance bovine colostrum, and caffeine.
