THE Great Shave Off at the Bermagui Beach Hotel on Sunday, February 10 was an afternoon of hilarity for four hairy locals.
A complete head and beard shave was endured by three fellas including Patrick Jubb who had not shaved in nearly 30 years.
Brian Jones braved the clippers and Tim Preo made a last minute decision to go the big chop.
Penny Watkins was the only female game enough for to contribute her head.
The event raised more than $4000 for CRABS which is an amazing effort for such a small community. As per usual the proceeds will all go to Cancer Council NSW and CanAssist.
The wonderful hairdresser for the afternoon was Patrick’s niece Karlene Jubb who did an awesome job.
The next big presentation of funds to those organisations is at the CRABS Bermagui Bike Show on April 6.
