The funds, which are to be matched by a further $100,000 from council, will be used to remove the existing timber jetty and pontoon at Apex Park and to install a new pontoon adjacent to the boat ramp.
Mayor Lindsay Brown is now seeking comments from members of the community and boat users on the draft design of the pontoon by Tuesday, April 9.
“The draft is similar to the design of the recently installed floating pontoon at Moruya town wharf and I would really like to hear your feedback on it,” Clr Brown said.
A special Q&A session at the Apex Park ramp will be held on Saturday, April 6 from 1pm to 2pm for the community to learn more about the project and provide feedback.
“We would also value your comments on the design in writing by April 9,” he said.
Please send your feedback to Eurobodalla Shire Council, PO Box 99 Moruya NSW 2537 or via email to council@eurocoast.nsw.gov.au
