Assisted by surf life savers, the chopper crew rescued a man and woman from the ACT after their boat capsized off the headland at Myrtle Beach, South Durras.
Surf Life Saving Far South Coast duty officer and director of lifesaving Andrew Edmonds said the pair in their mid-30s were picked up by the helicopter with minor cuts.
Lifesavers and Marine Rescue units then salvaged the four-metre vessel.
Seas were calm at the time.
