VANDALS caused an estimated $2000 damage at Narooma Public School by smashing six windows between 12.30pm Sunday, August 11 and 7am the next morning.
Golf balls and stones were found in the area. No entry was gained so the damage was purely malicious and all residents are reminded school grounds are off limits after school area and any activity should be reported immediately.
POLICE are treating the fire that started in the vicinity of the Cobargo tip as suspicious after the fire that burned about half a hectare at 12.40pm last Monday, August 12 was found to have started in four locations, including a dumped mattress.
Anyone with information is asked to come forward.
UNKNOWN persons in the early hours of Saturday removed five solar lights and a sundial from one garden as well as two outdoor lights from another garden in the Mummaga Lake Drive area at Dalmeny. Some of the lights were found smashed nearby.
A MOBILE phone was stolen from a car parked at Kianga at 8pm on Thursday.
A PATRON at Narooma hotel was issued with a $550 fail to quit fine at 9.30pm on Sunday after he allegedly refused to leave after being asked by staff three times.
