NAROOMA’S Jordan Willis had his Bonsai's stolen on Saturday, September 7.
“Jordan has an acquired brain injury from an accident in 1993 and his disability keeps him home a lot, so the Bonsai are an enjoyable interest for him,” Dianna Willis, Jordan’s mother said.
“These are some Bonsai’s that he won first and second prize at the Moruya Show over the last three years,” Mrs Willis said.
Jordan started collecting Bonsai about 10 years ago when his attendant carer Peter introduced them to him.
Five of Jordan’s Bonsai’s were stolen; three were Conifers one of which is a Christmas tree shape. The other two were contorted and one of them is quite large for a Bonsai.
Mrs Willis said she noticed a plant dish and rock on the lawn and on further investigation noticed the Bonsai’s were gone.
“Jordan was confused at first and it took a while for the theft to sink in,” Mrs Willis said.
“At the moment Jordan is quite cranky about it, she said.
If anybody knows the whereabouts of Jordan’s Bonsai’s they can call the Narooma Police on 4476 2044.
