Bermagui women’s bowls
THE weather was so uninviting last Thursday, with the wind gusting, play did not continue for very long. Then on Sunday, introducing the day with brilliant sunshine, this also failed to attract many players to the green. For those dedicated members and visitors who made a showing, on either day or both, you are to be commended. For sure, keep the bowls rolling, setting an excellent example for persistence.
Members are reminded that the meeting for October is on this Thursday, at 2pm.
The 2013 Mixed Championships will start with the first round on Saturday, October 12 – entries acceptable now please.
