HAMISH Guihot is a local Narooma 2-year-old boy who has recently been diagnosed with a rare type of epilepsy.
He has been flown to Randwick Hospital twice where this time he’s not doing so well.
Hamish is having tests to find out if he also has a disease that will cause him severe problems for life.
He is on seven different drugs and with no concession, his parents Grant and Mel with three other children, two of whom attend Narooma Public School, are finding it very challenging to make ends meet.
Mel is currently by his side praying for some positive news, while Grant has just come home to be with their other children and move house.
If you would like to help out this family and little champ Hamish, you can go to St George Bank and donate into BSB 112-879, account 410524659 and account name Grant Guihot.
Donations can also be made at Rapley’s Midtown Meats, the Narooma Plaza Pharmacy or Narooma Ice-Creamery.
All donations are greatly appreciated and the family can't express enough how grateful they are.
A big thank-you to Narooma Devils senior rugby league and patrons at O’Briens Hotel who at presentation night dug deep to help raise $757.
