THIRTY-FIVE years is a long time for anything to keep going! Businesses, marriages, small countries struggle, but not the Dalmeny Deviates!
The Deviates will be celebrating their 35th birthday with a Celebration Ball at the Narooma Golf Club on Saturday, October 12.
Everyone is invited to come along and have a great night, tell a few tall stories and have some fun.
For those who don’t know, the Dalmeny Deviates are group of blokes who began playing touch football together in 1978 and have stuck together ever since.
On the way, the Deviates have diversified their talents, not that they had much when it came to touch football! And have tried to give something back to our community by assisting with labour, fundraising and various other activities.
They have run many charity golf days and more recently bowls days, which have been fantastic fun and also good money raisers. The funds gathered is donated to worthy causes around town such as junior sport, Moruya Hospital, Narooma Ambulance and many other causes.
The originals are fairly old and grey now but there are always younger Deviates coming through to bolster the ranks.
A few of the old crowd are returning for the night so we’d love to see lots of ex-players, old opponents or anybody who would just like a good night out!
Get your tickets at Narooma Golf Club and come along and have a great time!
