NAROOMA police spent Tuesday searching for 40-year-old local Narooma man Jason Griffiths who went missing on Sunday. That search has now been extended statewide.

Police have concerns for his welfare and Narooma officers checked the coastline around the Narooma area from the ground before the Westpac Lifesaver 3 helicopter was called in on Tuesday afternoon to conduct an additional search from the air.
Police are also checking to see if he may have left the area travelling north on the Princes Highway and he may be driving a late model grey Ford Falcon sedan.
About 5.30am on Tuesday, police from the Far South Coast Local Area Command were alerted to the disappearance of a 40-year-old Jason Griffiths.
Mr Griffiths was last seen at his home in Narooma about 5.30pm on Sunday, December 8. Mr Grifith has a medical condition and police are concerned for his welfare.
He is described as being of Caucasian appearance with a fair complexion. He has a full beard, red hair, blue eyes and a solid build.
Mr Griffiths may be travelling in his black 2010 Ford Falcon sedan with a NSW registration of BSS-24Q.
