Stepping up at Narooma surf club

THE Narooma Surf Life Saving Club is sporting newly refurbished set of front steps.

It took two days last month to pour and smooth around 6 cubic metres of concrete donated by Cadgee Concrete over the old rough stairway.

The surf club is also sporting a new disabled access ramp around the back thanks to a State Government grant.

Surf club vice president Ben Bate said the new front steps were smooth as and a lot safer.

He thanks Cadgee Concrete for donating the concrete and making the project possible.

Testing out the steps earlier this month was the huge class of more than 125 Nippers that have enrolled at the surf club for this season.
