The organising committee has decided to have an inaugural run on Anzac Day 2014. The exhibition will be set up in the Big Hall and people will be able to view it after the Service while they munch their Anzac biscuits and drink their tea.
The organising committee is made up of Harry Bate, Norm Hoyer, Angela Young, Sue Munro, Mal Dibden, Tony Pye and David Oliphant.
It is hoped that people with photographs and memorabilia will be prepared to lend them. Copies will be made of any photographs, and organisers are asking that people who lend memorabilia be present on the day to look after their possessions and talk about them to people viewing the exhibition.
If you have an item or items you would like to offer, please contact David Oliphant on 4473 7838 or any of the committee members to register your photographs and memorabilia.
Not all items will necessarily be exhibited in 2014 but will be in 2015.
