The funds were raised from the charity golf day as well as from the “Putting on the Ritz” fancy dress night held at the club.
Rescue squad member Jeff Garrad said the funds would be used to outfit the squad’s newly acquired light truck including a set of “Jaw of Life to help cut patients out of wrecked vehicles.
He thanked both the lady golfers and all the local businesses that donated items for the charity events, noting that the Narooma unit was the envy of other VRA units because it was so well equipped from all the donations over the years.
