The Narooma unit has been selling tickets at its weekend Apex Park sausage sizzles, the Dalmeny Shopping Centre and also in the Narooma Plaza car park.
Tickets are also available at the Marine Rescue Base, Bar Rocks Road Narooma, the Narooma Sport and Game Fishing Club (when open on Fridays from 4.30pm) and various shops around Narooma.
Local State MP Andrew Constance will draw the raffle at 2pm on Saturday, February 15, at the Apex Park boat ramp.
“Come along for a sausage, and enjoy demonstrations by the rescue vessel and rescue jet skis,” Commander John Young said.
Funds raised will assist in repairing and upgrading the Marine Rescue’s floating pontoon at Mill Bay by March, in time for the arrival of its new, larger, 10m, rigid-hulled inflatable rescue vessel.
