About 10:30pm on Monday, March 10, emergency services were called to a commercial business on the Princes Highway, Narooma.
Police arrived to find the women suffering extensive apparent self-inflicted injuries. She subsequently died at the scene despite the efforts of paramedics and police.
A crime scene was established and this was examined by specialist forensic personnel.
There are no suspicious circumstances at this stage of the investigation.
