A MOTORBIKE crash saw a Bermagui woman airlifted to hospital after her bike collided with a car on Tuesday afternoon.
The 54-year-old woman was riding her Honda road bike alone north on Wallaga Lake Road just before 4pm when she collided with a car being driven by another local.
The car was pulling out of Bermagui Cobargo Road when the collision occurred, which was strong enough to break windows in the car.
A spokeswoman for Snowy Hydro Southcare confirmed the bike rider was taken by road ambulance to Bega Hospital and then airlifted to The Canberra Hospital, where she remains being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
CRABS members on scene to recover the bike said accidents had occurred at the intersection before and said bike awareness for car drivers was important at all times.
Police from Narooma remained on the scene.
