ANOTHER big East Coast Low is pounding the Far South Coast of NSW with winds gusting to 45 knots at Montague Island and four to five-metre swell hitting the coast around Narooma and Bermagui.

And while nothing like Cyclone Ita hitting Far North Queensland, the beach at Mystery Bay was transformed overnight with a field of rocks exposed where sand has been washed away in the beach erosion.
The BOM’s Severe Weather Warning extends for the South Coast although conditions are expected to ease.
“A low pressure system off the southern NSW coast is moving slowly to the north/northeast, bringing vigorous winds and large waves to the southern half of the NSW coast. Conditions are expected to ease later in the day as the low begins to move in a more easterly direction away from the region.”
