Mayor Lindsay Brown says Eurobodalla Shire Council is planning to improve the skate park over the next few months and wants to know what young people would like to see there.
“At the workshop you can contribute ideas and choose the features that you would like included into the design of the Narooma Skate Park,” said Cr Brown.
“Skate park designer, Simon Bogalo, will give a short presentation and there will be sample skate park pictures on display to vote for. You can also draw your own design and present them to the group.”
The youth of Narooma recently put their hands up to take greater ownership and care of the existing facility on Riverside Drive.
Bega Valley Shire Council meanwhile has just released the design for the new Bermagui Skate Park, which can be seen in the photos above.
Cobargo also recently built it's own skate park.
Eurobodalla Council will post updates on the Narooma Skate Park project on its Facebook page, www.facebook.com/EurobodallaShireCouncil and you can follow it soon on Council’s website, www.esc.nsw.gov.au
