There was a big bull shark caught right off the Murrah today with the professional fisherman saying it proved these shark do come this far south.
The same fisherman also in the last couple of weeks encountered a tiger shark on his lines as well as a very large bronze whaler shark, the same shark implicated in the fatal Tathra shark attack.
Others believe only a great white could have been responsible.
Commercial fishers point out that shark fishing is strictly regulated by Fisheries, with a weekly limit that is policed heavily.
Moving on from sharks, it looks like we are about to get another big blow on the South Coast with 4m seas and 35-knot winds forecast over the weekend.
One Narooma game fisherman snuck out before the storm this morning. He was seen in the Narooma Ocean Hut Compleat Angler in the morning and had his striped marlin by 10.30am.
