A 56-year-old Bodalla woman was driving north on the Princes Highway north of Bodalla near Coopers Island at 8.30am on Monday when she braked hard to avoid slower traffic ahead losing control.
He car slid onto the shoulder and then into an embankment. Complaining of back pain, the Narooma VRA rescue unit was called in to extricate her from the car.
She was taken to Moruya Hospital and the car was towed.
Light theft
AN LED light bar was stolen from the front of a Ford utility parked at the Narooma wharf between June 3 and 6.
Beer stolen
A CASE and a half of beer and a set of keys were reported stolen from a Toyota RAV at the caravan park on the Narooma Flat sometime between last Wednesday afternoon and Friday morning.
A boat trailer was also unhitched from the vehicle.
Expired licence
A 40-year-old local woman stopped by police on Burrawang Lane, Narooma at 1.30pm on Thursday for a breath test was found to be driving with an expired licence.
