The event on October 18 at Club Narooma is being planned by the friends and family of Jess Bourke, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in October and has had a mastectomy.
Jess, 28, is half way through her radiation now in Nowra and the "I will survive committee" had a meeting at Club Narooma on Saturday to continue planning the big event in October.
Narooma High School recently held a great pink mufti day, and Narooma Public School has one coming up too at some stage.
October 18 is the date for the fabulous full-day fundraiser for breast cancer at Club Narooma.
There will be an auction, silent Auction, stalls, kids face painting, jumping castle, live music and more!
All the funds raised will go toward the National Breast Cancer Foundation and the Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA), both leading community-funded organisation in Australia raising money for research into the prevention, detection and treatment of breast cancer.
Keep an eye on the Narooma News for more details soon. You can talk to any of these ladies to get involved or donate to this community event.
