The Narooma Devils also took the opportunity to recognise life members George Barker and Bob Bennett who this Queen's birthday were honoured with Order of Australia Medals for their contribution and community and the sport of rugby league.
Bob Bennett thanked the club and supporters and noted how the Moruya Narooma rivalry went back many decades, noting a particular match in 1963 where the ref lost control and had to call the match early.
In the reserves, Narooma also lost out to Moruya.
