A CAR stopped on the Princes Highway, Narooma at 3pm on Tuesday was searched and a 51-year-old Merrylands, Sydney man was found to be in possession of a number of cards including Medicare cards in different names.
He was arrested and charged with being in possession of goods stolen or otherwise illegally obtained.
Test refused
POLICE were called to Wallaga Lake at 1am Saturday after a local man in his 30s attempting to clutch start his car rolled into a car parked ahead on the road.
The man refused a breath test at the scene and back at the Narooma police station resulting in charges of refusing an alcohol test as well as driving disqualified and driving an unregistered vehicle.
Gas stolen
TWO 8.5kg gas bottles attached to a caravan parked at a Dalmeny residence were stolen between 10pm last Tuesday and 7am Wednesday.
Trees sawed
A PROPERTY owner on Nutley’s Creek Road, Bermagui reported that someone trespassed between July 7 and 23 and cut down a couple of wattle trees with a chainsaw.

Motorcycle accident
A MOTORBIKE rider from Tuross Head was involved in a collision with a utility near Coila Lake around 3pm Friday and was transported to Canberra Hospital by the Snowy Hydro Southcare rescue helicopter.
