The Jets got a bit of a reality check in their last hit out, where they were beaten 54-18 against the Gerringong Lions.
But with the exception of the Gerringong game, they have been in good form of late and will take plenty of confidence into Sunday’s clash.
While the Lions have now moved back into third, the Jets are only behind them on for and against and are still in a very strong position to make the finals.
Being back on their home turf, where they beat the second-placed Shellharbour City Sharks 34-32 in their last outing should also give them a boost.
Their opponents Port Kembla are sitting in last place on the table, but Jamberoo learned the hard way that they cannot be taken lightly.
The Blacks will be full of confidence after coming within four points against Warilla and defeating Jamberoo, but it is a game the Jets should win if they want to be there in the finals.
