Great to hear that these fancy heart attack kits are being carried in most ambulances, and amazing that your heartbeat can now be Blue Toothed all the way to The Canberra Hospital.
We can all now rest a bit easier knowing that these dedicated professional have some extra tools at their hands as heart disease is a big killer in our community.
The other paramedic story involved the little fella getting his finger stuck in a charity tin.
Mum assures us that the tin was empty and he was actually helping her place them around town as part of ongoing fundraising efforts to fight that other big killer – cancer.
She also wanted to mention that ex-paramedic and now VRA member Mal Barry was also there – so good on you Mal, Steve and Jeff!
Now just a little push to make sure you fill out one of the Narooma Oyster Festival surveys around town and why not consider joining the committee to make sure this award-winning festival keeps going.
We also hope to bring you some profiles of the new members of the Narooma Oyster Festival committee soon.
