Our Under 6 and Under 7 teams all travelled to Broulee for their end of season Gala Day. It was a fun day for everyone playing lots of games in the sunshine and, best of all, every player was presented with a Eurobodalla Football Association medal for playing their best this season.

There was a gala day atmosphere at Dalmeny as well with several teams playing home matches: the U8 Redbacks played Bay City, the U9 WhiteTips played Broulee while the U9 Redbacks went to Bodalla, all U10/11 teams were at home, as were the Youth Girls and All Age Ladies.
U10/11 Redbacks
Another victory to our undefeated Redbacks Under 10/11s this Sunday in their home game against Broulee Manta Rays.
Jack Westoll scored the first goal of the match as well as another later in the game. Jack Davis also scored twice with Kurt Zideluns, Kupah Martin and Makaylah Morris all scoring goals to make the final score 7-5. While strikers Kurt Zideluns, Kupah Martin, Jack Davis and Jack Westoll worked their usual magic as a united force, keeping the ball down the right end most of the match, Broulee put up a valiant struggle and gave the Redbacks a real challenge. This pressure pushed all players to work hard for their win. Ripley Simpson, Lucy Woolnough and Makaylah Morris were relentless in defence, with Angus Patmore as goal keeper preventing at least 5, potentially game-changing, opposition goals from getting through. An added highlight was Ruben Colom Davis' multiple headers which were great to watch. Bravo again to the mighty Redbacks!
U10/11 Spiders enjoyed a high scoring game vs Batemans Bay. NSSC Player of the Match was awarded to Teagan Nicholson who had a great game, defending well, scoring the best goal of the game in the top corner as well as goal keeping.
U12/13 Redbacks faced up to Moruya Swans in a game that could well decide the finalists this year. Missing goalkeeper, Digger Cowie, the team worked hard to contain determined opposition with some top defending from Anya Shatrov and Rory Spurgeon and brave keeping from volunteers Rhiannon Duck and Chelsea Ker.
Lawrence Kumar had a great game passing the ball well. Ethan Anderson and Eleni Ives put in their usual top efforts. Our first goal came from Jarrah Seaman who was thrilled to strike home his best goal of the season from the edge of the box into the top corner. Elise Dixon was also rewarded with a goal after making a series of brilliant runs. Unfortunately Moruya was able to break through our defence to score four, so the final result was 2-4. NSSC Player of the Match was awarded to Cecilia Colom-Davis who was Captain for the day and had a great game.
Our combined Bodalla/Narooma youth girls team had a great win against Clyde United 4-1 putting them in second place on the ladder.
The All Age Ladies went down to top of the table Moruya but were pleased to put a goal past the much stronger side. Final result 1-4.
