SOMEONE between 8pm and 2.30am on August 9 and 10 ripped out plants in planter boxes of the courtyard at the Plaza shopping centre, Narooma causing several hundred dollars damage.
Highway accident
POLICE are reminding drivers to rest and revive after a car being driven in a northerly direction on the Princes Highway at Narooma last Tuesday hit the western side of the roadway deflating both tyres on the one side of the car.
The driver claimed to have lost attention due to fatigue.
Shoplifting notice
A WOMAN in her 30s from Cobargo was issued with a court notice for shoplifting after a Bermagui surf shop reported that she alleged stole items on Friday morning.
Traffic operation
LOCAL police in conjunction with a highway patrol officer conducted a traffic operation including parking compliance in the Narooma business districts on Wednesday.
Mistaken identity
THE Narooma News fielded several calls, texts and post on Facebook about people thought was the NSW Police helicopter flying over the Narooma area last week. It turned out to be a helicopter contracted by Essential Energy to inspect power lines, but the similar colour scheme to the police helicopter had everyone confused.
