THE planning of the NBN Co fixed wireless towers seems a little haphazrd.

The good news is that wireless coverage looks like it is going to be pretty comprehensive with towers all around the Narooma district.
The towers could even mean better mobile coverage if the telecommunication companies co-locate on the NBN towers.
But so far there has been only one public notice in our newspaper and that was for the one on Wonga Road.
It appears only residents living next to the proposed towers were notified with a letter. And even then some of these residents are not on a mail route and so would never get a letter.
Even the Federal Member Peter Hendy who should be praised for visiting one of the sites last week only put out his press release on Friday – a mere two or three days before the sessions in Narooma and Bermagui.
What is going on? Hopefully any of the future locations and information sessions will be much better announced.
Anyway – got to run to go to the Narooma information session at the golf club to see what I can find out!
