Phil May from Narooma Carriage Rides will be out with his two retired pacers Buddy and Red, gentle giants saved from the slaughterhouse, every second day during the school holidays.
The horses clip-clopped down Narooma streets on Saturday morning offering rides, the proceeds of which helps pay for their feed and upkeep.
The rides help Phil and his partner Sophia Moody take care of Buddy and Red, horses they decided to rescue and bring back to their property at Corunna after the pacers retired from the racing industry.
The rides cost $10 for 10 minutes, $20 for 20 minutes and so on, with a minimum of three people.
Phil, Buddy and Red will be set up at the intersection of Riverside Drive and the Princes Highway near the Narooma Bridge, so keep an eye out for them!
