The majority of the Year 12 group, around 40 students, lined up in two lines leading up to Principal Tony Fahey and year advisor Sally Jeffrey.
The buckets began tipping until they reached the principal when suddenly some extra-large, ice-water filled bins suddenly appeared, ensuring he was well and truly soaked.
The Years 12s raised close to $1000 with the challenge and were inspired by a talk at Narooma Rotary about motor neurone disease.
Matt Ratcliffe who is battling the disease and his supporters were there for the big ice bucket tipping, as were members of Narooma Rotary.
