A great winter season was capped off with all swimmers continuing to improve their performances in the pool and a memorable club presentation dinner was held at the pool Club room with a fabulous selection of food for all our swimmers and their families to enjoy.

The club age champions for winter 2014 were 8 years and under Fiona O’Meara and Kaleb Miles, 9 years Michala Pendergast and Jordan Gmur, 10 years Ruby O’Meara and Aiden Miles, 11 years Georgia Pendergast and Banjo King, 12 years Sophie O’Meara and Treat Dufty and 13 years and over Ashley Walpole and Riley Miles.

The overall winter point score champions were Sophie O’Meara and Jordan Gmur with Fiona O’Meara and Banjo King Runners up.

Congratulations to all our swimmers for their fantastic efforts in the pool and to the volunteer parents for undertaking tasks each week for swim club to run. We look forward to the upcoming summer season including the annual Narooma swim carnival scheduled for November 15.

Swim Club returns again for summer season with free entry on Friday October 10 at 6pm with registration and information night for those new to swim club and most importantly some fun swimming with friends in the pool. The club barbecue is operating and activities for all swimmers to participate in including exhibition swims and novelty races will be on offer for new and old swimmers to make a splash.  All you need to bring is your swimmers, goggles (flippers and/or floaties if need) and a smile to have a great time.
