POLICE are asking for assistance with the theft of a four solar panels worth $3000 from the pumping station on Engine Road used to supply Tilba with water.
The panels were stolen overnight last Tuesday and police suspect a local may use on their own property, so call local police or Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000.
Barbecue stolen
SOMEONE went to great lengths to steal the whole barbecue worth $1000 from the National Parks picnic area at Corunna Lake between 10am on Friday and 8.30am Monday.
92-years accident
A 92-year-old Narooma man was driving east on Scenic Drive, Narooma when he left the roadway and crashed into a tree at 11am Saturday. He was taken to hospital for observation and released.
Rain event
NAROOMA police were kept busy during last Tuesday’s rain event closing off Riverside Drive, Field Street, Nicholson Drive, Hyland Street and McMillan Road on the Narooma Flat.
The SES assisted with four flooded homes, while there were also several minor landslips and trees down that blocked the Princes Highway.
By 1.30am the waters on the Flat had subsided. There were no injuries.
Oysters stolen
SEVEN dozen oysters were stolen from an oyster lease on Wagonga Inlet on the afternoon of Saturday, October 11.
