Requal Day
WELL done to all our patrolling members who requalified on Sunday. Our IRB crew and drivers requalified first and since they were already wet it was decided to complete the Bronze run-swim-run straight after.

After drying off our members headed up to the clubhouse for a radio briefing, some signals and resuscitation station updates.
It was great to see so many of our volunteer active patrol members in the club together for another season, the familiar faces from last year, some new faces and those returning after a few years break.
Rotary Leadership Development
The Rotary Club of Narooma is looking for a suitable person to sponsor for the Rotary Youth Leadership Award. For more information go to www.ryla.org.au or speak to Ben Bate.
Working Bee on Saturday
All members should come along - from the very young to the not so young - and lend a hand at this year's working bee.
There is weeding and pruning to be done, the deck needs to be oiled, as well as some handy work in and around the clubhouse.
Turn up from 8am in your work clothes and maybe a pair on gardening gloves. A barbecue and refreshments will be served afterwards in appreciation for your help on the day.
IRB Driver and Crew Person Training
A reminder that Ben is running the IRB Driver and Crewperson course on Saturday and Sunday this weekend.
The club is desperate to have more qualified members in the ducks so if you haven't already got your award, come along. Speak to Ben Bate for more info.
Nippers pool swim on Sunday
All Nippers from U8s to U14s must complete a pool swim proficiency before they enter the water at Nippers. Don't be alarmed, we are just evaluating each of our U8 to 14s in a safe water environment.
When? Meet Sunday, November 2 at Narooma YMCA Pool from 10am.
What to bring? Goggles, towel and pool entry fee along with egistration money and paperwork if you have not yet done so.
If you can't make on Sunday please email naroomaslsc@gmail.com to organise a suitable time to be assessed. For more information on the evaluation, please see the download on our Nippers webpage.
Welcome to Nippers for new parents
After the pool swim we will head back to the clubhouse where we will meet with new parents and host a presentation about what to expect for the coming season. Anyone who has not yet registered can do so at this time. Tea and Coffee will be supplied.
