More than 3000 riders are expected to take part in the 2014 'Snowy Ride’ which starts tomorrow (Saturday 1 November 2014).The ride will see the group travel through the southern part of NSW in support of the ‘Steven Walter Children’s Cancer Foundation,' raising money for research into childhood cancer.
As the large number of riders hit the road – with some having not ridden since last year’s ride – police are calling on them to remain vigilant and ride to the conditions.
Information on how to ride safely and make good decisions on the roads is available as part of the ‘Ride to Live’ campaign – launched yesterday by NSW Centre for Road Safety – with information available at www.ridetolive.nsw.gov.au
