Justice Craig rejected the Eurobodalla Fluoride Issues Incorporated case in a judgement handed down on Friday.
The group sought an injunction to prevent Eurobodalla Shire Council fluoridating the water supply, which began at its Deep Creek plant in 2011.
A council spokeswoman said Justice Craig found the council had conducted an appropriate environmental impact assessment of its fluoride plant.
She said the judgement allowed the council “to continue to provide high- quality water to Eurobodalla residents and visitors”.
She said a decision had not yet been made on costs.
The court stoush had by August 23 last year already racked up a bill to the shire for legal fees of $390,000.
A spokeswoman for the group declined to be interviewed and did not wish to be named.
