NAROOMA Marine Rescue recently completed a new Incident Room which is designed to facilitate an integrated response to emergency situations. The room is available as a co-ordinated control location for services in the local area, such as police, Marine Rescue, Maritime Services, helicopter, ambulance and facilities such as telephone, radio, internet, email, maps and mobile telephone are available. The room can be opened up to include the radio room to further expansion of communications.

In the event of an emergency the Incident Room will assist in a streamlining the response and provide a faster and coordinated rescue effort.
The Incident Room and other projects such as the new jetty were financed by the donations, money raised from fundraising events and the generosity of Narooma and visiting public.
Please continue your support for Marine Rescue enabling us to providing enhancements to our services. The sausage sizzle provides excellent sausages and hot dogs in a roll during the summer period, Sundays from 10am to 2pm and is located at the Apex Launch Ramp.
Tickets are also on sale for the annual Boat Raffle and can be purchased from the Marine Rescue Base, IGA Dalmeny, Woolworths at Narooma and some shops the Narooma. There is also the meat tray raffle at Rapley’s Butchers Narooma every Wednesday morning.
