The line built quickly putting pressure on the surf club and Lions club volunteers manning the barbecues.
Organisers were handing out flags and the tables set out in the surf club car park quickly filled with locals and visitors getting into the spirit and enjoying the traditional breakfast.
The main ceremony began at 10am with Narooma choir performing and the town’s citizens of the year named.
The Narooma Citizen of the Year was named as Vivienne Wood, the Narooma Junior Citizen of the Year is Molly Wharfe and Narooma Event of the Year was 'I will survive..." breast cancer awareness event.
