The South Coast Seaplanes floatplane is a great tourist attraction and worth a trip up for those who can afford it. Chris at the Quarterdeck has helped add another reason to visit Narooma.
Well done to the organisers of the Narooma Flathead Challenge that brought around 200 anglers, well other than the locals, to town to compete and share the wealth.
It was a great competition made all the better by that fact it is strictly catch and release, as is the Tuross Head competition coming up next month.
The old way of weighing in fish at the end of a comp is hopefully on the way out.
Finally congratulations to Paul West and Alicia Cordia from River Cottage Australia on the birth of their first child – Otto. I am sure he is going to be the next generation of farmer and probably a pretty good winter swimmer too!
