Shane Parker from Yass was delighted to receive the Quintrex boat package.
“It’s just what I need for fishing the inlet when I visit Narooma on my holidays, thanks Marine Rescue,” Shane said.
The second prize winner was local John Punnett who won a $500 gift voucher; he very kindly donated $100 of his winnings to Narooma Marine Rescue.
Sid Dean another local won Third prize, which was a night of luxury for two, staying at the Whale Motor Inn, along with a $100 dinner voucher. Those who missed out eagerly await next year’s raffle!
Marine rescue is holding a garage sale on April 11.
An eclectic range of useful items and treasures will be for sale. There will be a craft stall and sausage sizzle as well as other entertainment. If you wish to donate any items to Marine Rescue for the garage sale, there will be a member at the Marine Rescue base, Bar Rock Road Narooma, from 10am to 11am each Saturday until April 11.
Good luck to those keen anglers fishing the Narooma Sport and Gamefishing Club convention next weekend. Do not forget, all boats are encouraged to Log On and Log Off with Marine Rescue Narooma before crossing the bar or heading out on the water.
This is a simple process that lets Marine Rescue know when you are leaving, where you are heading and the time you expect to return. This notifies the service that you are out in your boat and that you have returned safely at the end of your trip. You can log on and off using either radio or mobile telephone on 4478 1443.
For further information on the garage sale or logging on, telephone the base on 4476 1443.
