It will be held at the Narooma Sports and Leisure Centre, at the roundabout, for the first time after many years after being held at Narooma High School.
This exhibition will now be close to busy tourist areas over the Easter break.
The official opening and announcement of awards will be at the leisure centre this Friday, April 3 at 5pm.
With generous sponsorship and support from local businesses, prizes - including the Narooma Art Prize “Best in Show” of $1000 - will be awarded across 11 categories.
The exhibition will be open on Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 5pm, and from 10am to 2pm on Monday, April 6.
Meanwhile, from April 1-8, the SoArt Gallery, on the Princes Highway Narooma next to the Kinema, will be hosting “Works on Paper 2”, featuring a collection of works on paper by MACS artists, including drawings, sketches, and watercolours.
This is a wonderful opportunity to browse and purchase original works by local artists, most of which are unframed, at great prices.
This exhibition is open from 10am to 4pm daily at the SoArt Gallery.
The MACS website www.macsartnarooma.com.au has details of these and other activities at Montague Art and Craft Society.
